Dress Code

Skelly Elementary
Updated July 2025

Students who arrive  at school and are inside their classroom by 7:30 t may be in FREE DRESS for that day. That means if your student is here on time, they are NOT required to wear a uniform!! Your student must be inside (not walking in, not standing in the hallway at their locker, not finishing breakfast), but fully inside the classroom by 7:30 to enjoy this incentive.

Any student who arrives after 7:30 a.m. will need to be in uniform. Your student must be in their classroom by 7:30. So, that means if you are pulling into the parking lot at 7:28, your child will not make it to their classroom by 7:30. If your student arrives after this time and is not in a uniform, they will be asked to go home and change, or a parent/guardian must bring a uniform to school. We recommend keeping a clean uniform in your student’s backpack for them to change into if needed.

Free Dress must adhere to TPS dress code policy
